SD Trip- Spring 2014. Part 4 of ???

Apparently, I'm trying to set the record for most posts on one single topic. Obviously, that topic is the Spring 2014 Wang family gathering. During the weekend, we had our annual easter egg hunt. We employed a reverse stagger start... The youngest member of the family (Wang Bing Xian) got to start first. A few minutes later, Wang Xue Xian burst out of the starting gates and joined the fray. Cousin Elena patiently waited her turn, and when cousin Chantal finally woke her happy a$$ up, she managed to collect all the 'high hanging fruit eggs.' Just kidding, Chantal was actually awake for the start of the hunt, she just graciously let her younger cousins and sibling go first. The hunt was supervised by Ye-Ye, who sat in his chair and observed the festivities.

Apparently Elena didn't have an easter basket. She used a plastic grocery bag...

SD Trip- Spring 2014. Part 3 of...

During our SD trip last month, one of the activities was coloring easter eggs. It was quite a spread that was laid out in the backyard; all the cousins got in on the act.

Back to School, Again... Sydney Style

Last week, I had the chance to goto school with Sydney. It was a special day at school, they were having an Easter egg hunt. First we completed an art project. We made 'Easter Baskets' Sydney wanted his bunny to have a goatee, so Daddy drew one on there! We took the basket out into the field where Sydney hunted for Easter eggs. There were eggs everywhere, but once Sydney picked up about eight of 'em, he said, 'Thanks enough'... Gotta love the non-greedy, sharing personality of this one! Once back in the classroom, I got to witness snack time. Boy Sydney sure liked them Goldfish (ie: baby-crack)

Of course Sydney finds the trains to play with...
