Goin' to the 619

Last week Sydney took his first road trip down to San Diego, and Nai-Nai and Ye-Ye's house. After getting the car packed, we set out on our journey. All was good, sailing into San Diego county, the kids were sleeping in the back, and traffic was (relatively) light. Then, we hit stop and go traffic on Interstate 5... due to construction. Sydney wakes up and starts crying. At this point, we have about 15 miles to go to reach Nai-Nai and Ye-Ye's house. But its stop and go... Do we keep at it and power through, or do we pull over and stop? We stopped... Daddy ran into Taco Bell to get a snack, and Mommy fed Sydney in the car while parked in the Taco Bell parking lot.

At Nai-Nai and Ye-Ye's house, all four of us shared one room. Big brother Casey was the first to get sick. He managed to pass his cold to baby brother. When you are all sleeping in one room, and there is lots of coughing and hacking going on, I suppose it's bound to happen.
